Built around 400 AD Basilica Chrysopolitissa is one of the oldest Christian churches in the world. Saint Paul taught Christianity here, and it is believed the pillar is the same one he was whipped upon for his beliefs. One of the most visited churches on the island, it is surrounded by the remains of Chrisopolitissa, ayia Kiriaki church, saint Pauls pillar and the remains of a Roman Catholic church. The church still operates today and you can attend Mass every Sunday, in multiple languages.
